The Use of Split Core Current Transformer.

Split core CTs are used for various applications, including power metering, load profiling, and energy audits. They are also used for monitoring and controlling heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems, as well as monitoring the power consumption of appliances, lighting, and other electrical loads.
Split core CTs are also used in renewable energy applications, such as solar panels and wind turbines, where they are used to monitor power output and energy consumption. They are also used in industrial and commercial settings to monitor power usage and identify opportunities for energy savings and efficiency improvements.

How to Use Split Core Current Transformer?
Split core current transformers are easy to use and install. Here are the basic steps to use a split core current transformer:
Turn off the power: Before installing a current transformer, turn off the power to the circuit or equipment that you want to monitor.
Open the split core: Open the split core by releasing the locking mechanism or removing the screws that hold the two halves of the core together.
Install the CT: Install the CT over the conductor that you want to measure. Make sure the conductor is centered in the CT and that the CT is fully closed and locked in place.
Connect the CT: Connect the output wires of the CT to the device or equipment that will be measuring or recording the current. Make sure that the polarity of the wires is correct.
Turn on the power: After the CT is installed and connected, turn on the power to the circuit or equipment.
Verify operation: Verify that the CT is working properly by checking the output signal and comparing it to the expected value.
