Does the working current cause electrical arcing?

No. The magnetic cable is designed to work with Eastron SEM series power meter. It is used for voltage sensing, signal transmission, and powering the meter, and carries only a very small current – not for carrying heavy loads. That means arcing (often caused by high current or poor contact) is fundamentally avoided.

Is the magnetic head prone to demagnetization?

Not under normal use. We use neodymium (NdFeB), also known as the “king of magnets”, for its high coercivity and excellent resistance to demagnetization. The magnetic cable's ultra-low working current generates virtually no heat, so the magnet stays stable in typical balcony PV environments. Unless exposed to extreme temperatures, demagnetization is not a concern.

Which circuit breakers is it compatible with?

Most standard circuit breakers – both single‑phase and three‑phase. For breakers with deeper mounting holes, we provide a stackable extender that can be adjusted to almost any depth. Once set, it stays in place, making installation hassle‑free.
